Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Valeri (“Dr. Val”) Chukhlomin and I am Full Professor and Academic Coordinator of online studies at SUNY’s Empire State University. With over 30 years of experience in teaching business, economics, and management in Russia, Australia, and the U.S., I have built an extensive career in higher education and online learning. In recent years, I have shifted my focus to artificial intelligence, integrating AI-driven innovations into education and faculty development. I have received three IITG (Innovative Instruction Technology Grants) and other research grants to develop a series of highly successful online courses for Coursera. My expertise in online education has led me to explore the transformative potential of AI in digital learning environments. Most recently, I have published a series of articles promoting EMERALD, an AI-driven framework designed to support online learning institutions for adult learners. In addition to my research, I teach Advanced AI for Economic and Business Analysis and work as a trainer and facilitator, helping faculty utilize custom GPT models for curriculum planning, administration, teaching, and learning. At SUNY Empire’s School of Business, I coordinate online marketing programs and have designed and led courses on Career Self-Management and Personal Branding, International Business, International Marketing, Cross-Cultural Management, International Political Economy, Marketing Strategy, Strategic Executive Leadership, and Strategic Global Management for MBA students. Through my work, I continue to shape the future of AI-enhanced education, bridging the gap between technology, pedagogy, and institutional strategy.
